What is Wordle and how to play?

Wordle is the global linguistic puzzle phenomenon that tests your vocabulary and logic. The goal is simple: guess a hidden 5-letter word in a maximum of 6 attempts. Every time you enter a word, the game gives you visual clues through colors: a letter in green means it is in the correct position; in yellow indicates that the letter is part of the word but is in another place; and the gray color indicates that the letter is not present. It is a quick, addictive mental exercise, perfect for training your brain every day.

Scoring and Competition in Wordle

In Single Games Arena, we have taken Wordle to the next level by adding a total scoring system so you can truly compete. The sooner you guess the word, the more points you add to your profile: guessing it on the 1st attempt grants you 10 points, on the 2nd attempt 7 points, on the 3rd is 5 points, on the 4th you get 3 points, on the 5th you add 2 points and, if you achieve it at the limit on the 6th attempt, you receive 1 point. Create a league with your friends and show who has the best success average!

Strategies to master Wordle

Want to improve your times? One of the best strategies is to locate the vowels as soon as possible; starting with a word that contains 4 vowels (like "AUDIO") can give you a lot of initial information. If you find yourself stuck with many similar letter options, don't hesitate to use a completely different word on your second or third attempt to discard key consonants and clear the board. Logic is your best ally!
